Marko Papic is the Macro-Geopolitical Chief Strategist and Senior Vice President at BCA Research, one of the largest global macro, investment research firms.
At BCA, Papic is primarily responsible for the firm’s premier product, BCA Access, a macro concierge product that provides investors with access to custom research and the wide network of experts the firm has cultivated across its over 75-year history. He also produces GeoMacro Strategy, a global macro discretionary investment strategy that combines in-depth analysis of politics, geopolitics and policy to call the markets.
Before this role, Papic was a Partner and Chief Strategist at an alternative asset management firm based in California where he provided institutional investors with around-the-clock market insight and bold calls. He also helped seed global macro hedge funds and curate several funds across public and private markets.
Papic is also a published author, penning Geopolitical Alpha: An Investment Framework for Predicting the Future, which was featured on Bloomberg’s ‘Best Books of 2020’. His work incorporating geopolitics into the asset management sector has also become part of the CAIA curriculum, and he often features in the global media, discussing how a wide range of geopolitical, macroeconomic and policy issues affect the markets.
